Hey guys!
I’m always asked about my Instagram and how I edit photos.
So first and foremost, confidence shows through in photos. So does shyness and freaking out. Take control of your photoshoot.
When I go out to shoot I have photo ideas saved from instagram of what I want. So, when I get somewhere I’m not unprepared and standing around like ???
Before you can even find photos to save. Ask yourself who inspires you? Who’s instagram feed you’re in love with with?
Here’s 2 of my favorite feeds. When they post I honestly get really happy. They inspire me everyday.

Knowing your aesthetic will definitely help with finding inspiration. For me, I love classy, chic, French Parisian lifestyle. Even looking at my explore page is helpful. Pinterest is hands down the best app for looking for an aesthetic.
Next, is how I edit. I use my own preset (you can shop here on my blog) and you can find many others for sell on Etsy. And save it on Lightroom. Using a preset will make your feed look together. notice the difference between the two feeds below. One is more bright and pink and the other is more dark and has more contrast. When you choose your preset it should be your style/ personality. Try not to mimic exactly what someone else have.

You want to add texture into your feed. That means a good mix and variety of closeups, full lengths, flat lays, busy backgrounds, simple photos, and angles. You don’t want every photo just a basic OOTD. You want to always be switching things up.
You font need a fancy camera to take pictures. I use my iPhone portrait mood to take my photos.
Lastly I use an app called UNUM to help me figure out if I want to post a picture. Does it match my feed? Instead of me posting it to Instagram and ending up deleting it.
Make your photos unique to you. Find your vibe, brand, and niche. Do what makes you feel confident. The best photos come out of confidence and not over thinking. It’s really all about having fun.

This is very good feedback about posting photos! I hadn’t heard of UNUM before. I will be downloading it now! Thank you
